a mother for 2 year...
a wife for 4 years...
and a little bird for 26 years.
Apparently I made bird noises and was "up with the birds " every morning as a baby (thats a nice way of saying that I woke up ridiculously early). A characteristic that has not followed me into adulthood but the nickname stuck.
This blog is one for the girls, to talk about the ups and downs of motherhood and the ways we fill our time at home while the kid is napping. Please feel free to share your stories, I only ask that you do not use my name as I am currently deciding whether or not to make my family blog private and I don't want to do the same to this one.

Oh how true all of this is! Love the part about how we think we'll sleep better after the baby is born! Ha! Great big fat HA!
